About the artist:
My name is Andy Yeung and I’m a photographer keen on landscape, architecture and aerial photography. A decade has past since I picked up my very first camera in 2005. I'm still in love...with the the creative process in photography. As a born-and-raised Hong Konger, I learned to cull inspiration from the familiar especially when coming up with shots of this over photographed city. Capturing great moments and transforming what I’ve seen into something new and artistic is a rewarding experience.

Framing
John Divola
John Divola is an American contemporary visual artist. He currently lives and works in Riverside, CA. Divola works in photography, describing himself as exploring the landscape by looking for the edge between the abstract and the specific.
My example
I took a far image of any type of object with a frame to it and then did a close up of a part of the same image. This added the effect of close up far away. Next time i'm going to edit one of the examples on photoshop to add more detail to it. Also in the second image of each example I used a white frame to sharpen up the close up.
Continuing
You first open photoshop then you press new and choose A4 international paper. You then rotate the image 90 CW and then select your far and close images on 2 different layers and leave the background white. Once you have both your images on a white background and at the same length you then click on background go to fill and colour and pick the right colour that fits your images, once you've done that you flatten your image and save it.
WWW: I took a picture of the car and then some details to fulfil the task given.

Wild concreate - Romain Jacquet-Lagrèze
Focusing solely on the phenomena of trees sprouting from residential buildings in Hong Kong, Wild Concrete compares the living conditions between plants and humans. Such peculiar sight of ‘wild concrete’ is by no means exclusive. They can be found everywhere in the heart of the city: roots spiralling down the external pipes of a Mong Kok loft; shoots lurking behind a window frame of an apartment in Central hills; or branches spreading across a residence in Sham Shui Po, collapsing it from the inside out.

Anastasia Savinove
Anastasia Savinova is a russian-born artist living in Sweden. A background in architectural studies led her to create these large scale photo collages. Each collage is comprised of multiple layers of photographs shot in various European capital cities.
my example
The way that the artist inspired me was by perfectly blending different types of houses to create one whole house or building. I wanted to show the viewer a variety of different styles of houses that could compliment each other.
WWW: Had different images of houses and created a nice full image on photoshop
EBI: Made it look more real, I could do this by getting more clear photos and cutting them out neatly and then placing them next to each other to create a overall better building.

Layered Landscape
How I made this...
First of all I had multiple images of different buildings and I cut them out, I then layered them over each other to create a neat image. Once I found the way I liked the images laid I glued them in place on a A3 sheet of paper. After I did that I cut around the image and got rid of the access white background, I then found a gloomy background on the internet that contrasted very nicely with my picture and I glued the background onto a white A3 sheet again and then glued the picture of the buildings on top. Once that was all done to finish it off I cut off the access white background of to leave me with the image above.

Three years ago, I discovered a new passion for aerial photography. I put together several aerial series including Urban Jungle, which attracted international attention. My recent 360-degree photos went viral on Facebook and been shared thousands of times.
I’ve worked with various internationally known newspapers and companies such as BBC, CNN and DJI. I enjoy working with people who love art and trust me as an artist. Taking projects/assignments seriously, I’m ready to create outstanding visuals with you.

Development 2: Image simplified
Artist: Paul Eis
So took pictures of the music block for my first development for looking up. I then realised that it would look really cool simplified, so for my second development I decided to use Paul Eis's idea. I used the polygon lasson tool to neatly go over the edges of the building and filled in the pieces of the building one by one with its matching colour. I also added the sky with and without the colour fill:
Development 3: Mirroring
Artist: Micheal Shainblum
You select the image you want to copy and then you copy and paste it onto white international paper and you keep copying and selecting until you have the image created above.
Mock exam
Half moving
Artist: Romain Laurent
Artist and me
Romain is a photographer based in Los Angeles and he works with photoshop. As you can see with this example of a piece of Romain's work, I really liked this idea of flowers becoming eyes but I wanted too add a twist to it so that I could base my design on this as well.
The way that I am linking my finish product is that I was orgianlly going to put flowers on a building but I changed my idea to putting flowers on Zachs eyes.
I took lots of pictures of Zach in different poses. I took one of the pictures and grey scale it on photoshop, then I cut out some flowers and copied and pasted them onto the image of him. I then made the flowers the right size so they looked like they were replacing his eyes. For my 2 hour mock that is taking place on the 18th of July, I am going to use the other pictures of Zach and put it into a gif so that he is moving but the flowers stay the same.
This my first practice of my mock but hopefully I have enough time to improve it.
WWW: I have taken nice pictures and turned them black and white and I have taken pictures of flowers to sync in with the environment topic we were learning and developing on. I also added flowers to Zach's eyes to make it look like nature.
EBI: Made the flowers look more realistic.
